From the moment you arrive, the aroma of wood fire and slow-cooked dishes tells you this is something special.
At Konoba Bovan, food is prepared the old way — over a wood-fired grill and under the traditional peka, a cast-iron bell used for slow-cooking meat and seafood to perfection. Watch your meal come to life right before your eyes. The menu celebrates the best of the Dalmatian coast: freshly grilled fish, tender lamb, Adriatic squid, hand-sliced pršut and the finest local cheeses.
The atmosphere is exactly what a konoba should be — warm, unpretentious and full of life. “Perfect experience in the heart of Split! I started with Dolce Garbo, which was absolutely outstanding — rich in flavor and perfectly prepared. Lignje s blitvom were just as fantastic, fresh and perfectly seasoned. For dessert, the apple strudel — pure perfection! The atmosphere was truly special — pleasant, spacious, and relaxing.
